This post will feature to sets of reviews. Patio furniture stores, both online and brick and mortar will be reviewed based on the criteria listed below. Patio furniture manufacturers will also be reviewed. I would invite any reader of this blog to send me a message asking to review either a store or a manufacturer. I will post the ones I know in the next few days to provide a template for other reviews.
Review Criteria for Stores
- Online, Brick and Mortar, Both
- Types of products ( wood, aluminum, plastic or other )
- Customer Service - This is how well the company responds to customer service requests when there is a problem. Hopefully, most customers will not have to return products when when you do, this is very important.
- Sales Knowledge - How well does the sales staff know the product. Can they tell you the exact dimensions, how to care for the wood etc.
- Quality - This measure the quality of the patio furniture. The quality is usually related to the price but not always.
- Shipping - How fast are the products shipped, do they arrive when promissed, do they arrive damaged, broken etc.
- Price - this is compared to other stores selling the similar products
- Selection - This is a measure of how many different types of products are available. Some stores carry a limited selection while others carry a huge selection. Most of the time, the more products are sold, the less the sales knowledge. The fewer products sold, the greater the sales knowledge.
